RONSON TOUCH TIP LIGHTER WITH SMALL FACE WATCH
MALTESE FALCON MODEL

This is a nice example of a circa 1936 Ronson touch tip table lighter with small face watch- made famous by being featured sitting on Sam Spade’s desk in the Maltese Falcon-and so one of the most sought after touch tips ever made. It is finished in tortoise enamel with an ivory enamel ring around the face of the watch. The touch tip mechanism has been rebuilt and is in excellent working order- lights first time every time and is perfect for everyday use. The watch shows normal use- Runs accurate about 20 hours per wind. As good as can be expected for a 100 year old pocket watch.. It has an original wand and wick holder with new wick material to serve you for a long time. It has a new felt pad on the bottom. The enamel both on the body and on the ring is intact in good shape with one significant nick on the face, and a little wear on the backside. Does not detract from the overall presentation.

RARE RONSON NORSEMAN JR. TOUCH TIP

This is a very nice example of a circa 1936 Ronson Norseman Junior touch tip table lighter- it is finished in heavy silver plating with polished, matte and antiqued areas. It is completely original including the wand and has the original wick holder with new wick material which will last a very long time. It is the one piece solid body design- far superior in my experience to the two piece insert design. It has been cleaned and tuned up to insure it works like it should- lights first time every time just like it did 85+ years ago when it was new. It has the usual number of small dings on the top plate seen on all the lighters of this age that were regularly used by the original owner. It has a few wrinkles in the finish throughout, including a dent/gouge on the bottom lip shown in the detail photo below. Doesn’t detract from the overall presentation. If you are looking for a really nice example of a rare model for your collection or everyday use, this is it. Or a perfect gift for that someone in your life- even if it’s you!

This is a good example of a circa 1950’s Ronson Grecian model in tortoise enamel on chrome. It is completely original except for the new wick assembly. It has been cleaned and tuned to insure it works like it should. The chrome on the top plate is in really good condition. This is a very nice example of a circa 1930’s Ronson Octette touch tip table lighter- it is chrome with black enamel body. It has been cleaned and tuned to insure it works as it did when it was made-70 or so years ago. The black enamel has a few flea bites, doesn’t detract from the presentation. The chrome has some brassing. It has an original wand with new wick material. RONSON PRE WAR BLACK BAKELITE OCTETTE TOUCH TIP

This is a very nice example of a circa 1930’s Ronson Octette touch tip table lighter- it is chrome with the most common color- black -Bakelite body- which Ronson called Ronsonoid. None of these had a monogram shield. It has been cleaned and tuned to insure it works as it did when it was made-70 or so years ago. The body does not have any cracks and is in really good shape for age. The chrome is better than average as well- with only a couple of the usual dings in the top plate seen on all of these that were used by their previous owners. It has its original wand with new wick material. A new felt pad on the bottom to protect the furniture- and of course it lights first time very time like it should! RONSON PRE WAR ALT PANEL OCTETTE TOUCH TIP

This is a very nice example of a circa 1930’s Ronson Octette touch tip table lighter- it is chrome with alternating black panels. It has been cleaned and tuned to insure it works as it did when it was made-70 or so years ago. The chrome is better than average as well- the top plate has more brassing than usual but is still a good functioning mechanism. The enamel has a little crazing with one nick on the backside. It has an original wand with new wick material that lasts longer than the original Ronson material. A new felt pad on the bottom to protect the furniture- and of course it lights first time very time like it should! RONSON CLASSIC TOUCH TIP

This is a really nice late 30’s Ronson Touch Tip Classic in tortoise enamel on chrome. The enamel is in excellent condition, with minor wear to the chrome around the mechanism. It has an original wand with new wick material to last you a very long time. It has been completely overhauled, Cleaned, up, tuned up, and ready to be your next daily user!

RONSON DELUXE TOUCH TIP TABLE LIGHTER

This is a very nice example of a circa 1930’s Ronson Deluxe touch tip table lighter- it is chrome with a black enamel body. The enamel shows it’s age, It has a couple touch up marks from a previous owner. It is still a good showpiece. It has been cleaned and tuned to insure it works as it did when it was made-70 or so years ago. It is a fairly heavy cast piece and the chrome on the top has the usual scratching- the base chrome is nice with only a few of the ordinary dinks these pieces suffer over their lifetime! The piece is all original including the wand and new wick material that lasts longer than the original Ronson material- has a new felt pad on the bottom and of course it lights first time every time like it should! ! Here is a rare example of the Ronson Norseman full sized touch tip lighter. It is in excellent shape with the original silver plated wand to go with the heavy silver plate throughout the lighter. One of my personal favorite touch tip designs, it features a larger reservoir than the Octette and will provide lights for a long period of time between fillings- and it is a very sleek deco design. GOLD TONE SPECIAL

Shown here is a 1930’s design Ronson Streamline touch tip table lighter. I finished up someone’s special project. Looks to be a tortoise on gold versions someone buffed all the enamel off. It is a mostly intact gold tone finish, left with minor evidence of the original tortoise enamel, and some wear on the curved side. It’s not an all original finish, but an interesting alteration of a classic design. It has a brand new felt bottom pad to protect the furniture. It has a reproduction wand in polished brass and wick holder with new wick material to serve you for a long time. The wand is not an exact match to the gold tone finish. It has been completely overhauled and works like new- lights first time every time just as it should. Overall it is a really nice looking piece that doesn’t really show its age- so it’s a great user that will serve you well for many years- a great collector piece and a great holiday present for that special someone- even if that is YOU! RONSON TOUCH TIP BARTENDER

The 1936 rare touch tip of elaborate construction. Two cigarette holders with original cork lid liners and fully functional cigarette lifters attached to the lids. The piece has been cleaned, tuned and prepared to be the showpiece of any smoking or bar room. All the bar top hardware is present in good condition. The figure has original paint throughout as well as the woodgrain bar. There is minimal brassing on the top chrome, and the front center chrome. The coaster stack has a new coat of ivory paint. The original ivory paint rarely survives. There is minimal crackling in the bar woodgrain pattern, with a few flecks missing, mostly on the back corners. There is one spot on the back base, looks to be a drop of silver paint. See Photos.
The mechanism has been tuned and spark first time every time. The original wand has new wick material. Ready to be your daily user!
